City Recognized for Excellence in Financial Reporting

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi’s Finance Department has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). The group was recently recognized by City Manager Margie C. Rose during a City Council Meeting.

The award demonstrates a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” in communicating financial information.

This is the 34^th year we have received the honor and it is the highest form of recognition for governmental accounting and financial reporting.
