CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi is excited to launch a new Spanish-language Facebook page to provide information and resources for our Spanish-speaking residents. This initiative highlights our dedication to keeping all community members informed and engaged.

The Spanish-language Facebook will feature a diverse range of content, including:

  • News & Updates: Stay informed with the latest developments from the City of Corpus Christi, covering events, changes to public services, and important announcements.
  • Community Events: Details about local activities and events for the whole family.
  • Resources & Services: Convenient access to municipal resources, including emergency services, educational programs, and community assistance.

“We want to ensure that every resident has access to essential information and can actively participate in our community,” Mayor Paulette Guajardo said. “Launching this Spanish page is a significant step towards promoting inclusion and accessibility for all.”

Approximately 66.73% of Corpus Christi residents speak only English, while 33.27% speak other languages. Spanish is the most spoken non-English language, used by 30.67% of the population.
