CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Mayor Paulette M. Guajardo and City Manager Peter Zanoni will discuss with the Media the approval of the City’s operating and capital budget of $1.2 billion for FY 2022, which begins October 1, 2021. 

The balanced budget is designed to address the community’s top priorities including streets, storm water, public safety, parks and neighborhood services. With this budget, the City can invest significant dollars into high-priority areas without a City property tax rate increase.
