City Marina Featured in National Publication
The Corpus Christi Marina is featured in multiple national publications including, "Saltwater Sportsman.”
The article is about the most recent City renovation of the Marina using Federal U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service grants. Over the years, Marina Superintendent Peter Davidson has been extremely successful in applying and receiving grants, and using grants as seed money for waterfront upgrades, something the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service encourages all cities to do.The latest enhancements were constructed earlier this year and include 118 new boat slips of which 18 are funded with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife grant. The docks include LED lighting, dual electrical outlets and security cameras. Grant funding totaled $653,000.00 out of a total project cost of $3.3 million.
The City continues to see economic benefits from the Marina, drawing visiting boats and tourists from all over the world.
