City Launches Mobile Food Vendor Pilot Program

Vendors Can Chose from Seven Locations

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi is now accepting mobile food vendor applications for its new pilot program.

In July, City Council approved changes to the City Code of Ordinances which allowed the creation of the Corpus Christi Mobile Vending Pilot Program. This one-year program is intended to provide food vending opportunities in public city locations. The pilot program is expected to begin this week and run through August 2018.

Applications will be accepted through the end of October and vendors can choose from seven different City locations in the downtown and uptown areas.

The City’s Environmental Health Environmental and Consumer Health Services (ECHS) and Traffic Engineering Divisions will assist with scheduling and coordinating the mobile vendors.
