City Firefighters to Demonstrate Smoke-Filled Room Escape

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Once a fire starts it can spread with frightening speed. Don’t underestimate the risk, preparing and practicing a home escape plan will help you act quickly to get everyone out safe. 

As part of this year’s Fire Prevention Week, the Corpus Christi Fire Department will demonstrate actions you can take to escape a smoke-filled room. It’s part of this year’s theme, “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape, Plan and Practice Your Escape.”
