City Crews Conducting Repairs at Staples Street and SPID

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – City crews are conducting roadwork following emergency street repairs at the intersection of South Staples Street and South Padre Island Drive (SPID).

The roadwork causes the closure of both the northbound lanes from McArdle Road to SPID and the southbound turning lane at the Staples Street and SPID intersection. The southbound lane  of traffic going straight on Staples Street from McArdle Road to SPID is still open.

Work is expected to be completed by Wednesday evening.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
