City Begins Broadcast of Planning Commission Meetings
The City of Corpus Christi will begin live broadcast and internet stream of Planning Commission meetings beginning Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. The meetings can also be viewed on the City website at www.cctexas.com via live internet stream.
The Planning Commission consists of nine members who are appointed by the City Council and act as an advisory board to the Council. The Planning Commission duties include review and recommendation to City Council on the following:
Zoning or requests for zoning changes in a manner to ensure consistency with the Comprehensive Plan and the City's annual budget;
Adoption, implementation and changes to the Comprehensive Plan;
Proposals to adopt or amend land development regulations;
The Commission also exercises control over platting and subdividing land within the City limits and various jurisdictions.
