Cause of South Side Business Complex Fire Determined
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Representatives with the Corpus Christi Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal's Office have determined the Sunday morning blaze which heavily damaged several offices in a south side business complex was intentionally set. Agents base their ruling on specific evidence found at the scene.
The building located in the 5900 block of S. Staples contained the office of State Representative Todd Hunter and several other businesses.
The Texas Rangers and Department of Public Safety Crime Unit are assisting in the ongoing investigation. Anyone with information on the fire should call 1-877-4FIRE45.
