Carroll Lane Public Meeting Thursday

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Engineering Services will host a public meeting of a street improvement project on Carroll Lane from Houston Street to McArdle Road. The public meeting is an opportunity for stakeholders in and around the project to ask questions regarding upcoming construction.

Citizens are invited to attend the open house at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 6 at Lindale Senior Center, 3135 Swantner Street. A discussion will follow at 6:00 p.m.

This Bond 2014 Prop 1 project consists of a full-depth reconstruction of the existing two-lane roadway. The improvements include removal and replacement of the existing asphalt pavement with new asphalt pavement, concrete bus pads, curb & gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, off-street cycle tracks, signs, and pavement markings. Utility improvements include water, storm water, gas, and wastewater.

A brief description and projected construction schedule will be presented.
