Brush Drop Off Available to Corpus Christi Residents on Sunday
City to Open J.C. Elliott Transfer Station Brush Center
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi is reminding residents the J.C. Elliott Transfer Station Brush Center will be open on Sunday, August 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in response to Tropical Storm Harold. The transfer station is located off the Crosstown Expressway at 7001 Ayers Street and is normally closed on Sundays.
Disposal services are free of charge for residential customers hauling from their homes and are limited to brush drop-off only. The station will not be accepting other waste materials at that time.
Residents are reminded to secure their brush with a tarp while transporting it to the transfer station. In addition, residents must provide a valid driver’s license to prove their Corpus Christi residency.
The transfer station will be open Saturday during regular operation hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
