Airline Road Nightly Lane Closures

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents and business beginning Tuesday, September 3, the following traffic control plan will be implemented nightly between 6:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., weather permitting:

• Nightly temporary lane closures will reduce traffic down to two lanes, one lane for each direction, between Williams Drive and Holly Road. Side streets intersecting Airline Road may experience short term temporary closures as construction progresses through the respective intersections. Road construction and lane closures are estimated to last several weeks.

The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the work zone and obey construction warning signs. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area. Access to local driveways and side streets will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
