Accordion Contest Sunday at Ben F. McDonald Library

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Texas Folklife, Hacienda Records and the Ben F. McDonald Public Library present the Big Squeeze Talent Showcase of 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2017, at the Ben F. McDonald Public Library, 4044 Greenwood Drive.

The Big Squeeze Talent Showcase is an opportunity for accordion players ages 21 and under to display their musical talents in three accordion genre categories including Polka, Cajun/Zydeco and Conjunto. All young accordionists are invited to be a part of this truly unique competition. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 1:00 p.m. (an hour before start time) to register for the contest.

Hacienda Records recording artists La Kreazion & Imagen will perform after the competition. This event is free and open to the public.
