TSA Pre✓® Temporary Application Center to Open March 26 - 30th at Corpus Christi International Airport

Corpus Christi, TX – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will open a temporary TSA Pre✓®. application center from Monday, March 26 – Friday, March 30th at the Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) where individuals can apply for the popular expedited screening program.

The application center will be open from 8 am – noon and 1 pm – 5 pm all five days in the 2nd floor conference room at the airport.  Passengers do not have to purchase an airline ticket to access the application center. Visitors can park in the short term lot and bring in their parking stub for validation.  Parking validation will be handled in the Airport Admin offices just to the right before reaching the TSA Security Checkpoint.

Travelers who are enrolled in TSA Pre✓® or another trusted traveler program such as Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Global Entry, SENTRI or NEXUS are permitted to keep on their shoes, belts and light outerwear jacket, and can leave their laptops and liquid 3-1-1 bags inside their carry-on bags when transiting the checkpoint. To find the program that best suits your travel needs, use the DHS trusted traveler comparison tool.

The TSA Pre✓® application process allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to go through a pre-enrollment process online and then visit an application center to provide biographic information (e.g. name, date of birth, address, etc.), fingerprints and valid required identity and citizenship/immigration documentation.  Although pre-enrollment and making an appointment online is recommended, walk-ins also are accepted on a space-available basis. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $85 for a five-year membership. Approved applicants will receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN) that can be used when making airline reservations.

Interested individuals can begin the application process online by visiting https://universalenroll.dhs.gov and selecting “Pre-Enroll Now” in the TSA Pre✓™ section of the webpage.
