This Summer is a Great time to Learn How to Swim

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department invites the media to its Summer 2017 Group Swim Lessons for a photo opportunity.
WHAT: Our Group Swim Lesson sessions are 30 minutes long and are held Tuesday–Friday, 9am–1pm and 6pm–8pm at four city pools. The summer swim
seasons are offered now through August 11, 2017.
WHO: Approximately 65 students are registered for the current swim session.
WHERE: Greenwood Pool, 4305 Greenwood Drive
Collier Pool, 3801 Harris Drive
H-E-B Pool, 1520 Shely Street
T.C. Ayers Pool, 926 Coke Street
WHEN: Best time for this photo opportunity is on Thursday, July 13, at 11am.
WHY: Swimming is an important skill everyone should learn which provides enjoyable recreation and a great way to stay active and fit at any age.
We provide Group Swim Lessons designed for children ages six months to adult and all abilities. Our trained instructors guide students on
how to swim along with the importance of water safety. Student advance to the next level after they successfully complete skills. We also
offer Private Swim Lessons and swim lessons for persons with special needs through our Adaptive Aquatics program. For more information,
