Is Learning How to Swim On Your Bucket List?

Online Registration for Summer Swim Lessons Starts on May 21.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – If you, or your child, don’t know how to swim, there is no better time than this summer to learn! The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department encourages residents to build a life-long passion for swimming and it all starts with learning how to swim. We offer swim lessons for this important life skill for persons of all ages and skill level. Our certified instructors will make learning fun and friendly in a safe environment.

Group Swim Lessons: The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program offers Group Swim Lessons designed for ages six months to adult. Make friends with classmates while learning from our certified swim instructors. Classes are based on a progressive system in which students learn a set of skills before advancing to the next. Summer sessions run from June 4–August 9, 2019. Each session runs for two consecutive weeks, Tuesday­­–Friday. All classes are 30 minutes long and are available at the Corpus Christi Natatorium and Collier Pool. Group lessons are $50/person for 8 classes. Online registration starts on May 21. Private Swim Lessons: The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program offers Private Swim Lessons designed for ages six months to adult. You will receive one-on-one instruction from our certified instructors and master the art of swimming! Classes are based on a progressive system in which the student learns a set of skills before advancing to the next. Summer sessions run from June 4–August 9, 2019. Each session runs for one week, Tuesday–Friday. All classes are 30 minutes long and are available at the Corpus Christi Natatorium and Collier Pool. Private lessons are $100/person for 4 classes.
