CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Volunteers are needed to help build a new state-of-the-art playground at Dolphin Park this Saturday, December 8. In just a few hours, they will assemble a playground providing a place to play for both neighborhood kids and for families who come to enjoy a day at the beach.
This playground project is funded by the Rebuild Texas Fund and KaBOOM! to serve communities affected by Hurricane Harvey by ensuring kids can get back to the business of childhood. Other partners on the project are North Beach Community Association and the City’s Parks & Recreation Department.
Earlier this fall, a group of local kids were invited to help design the playground that will soon be built in their neighborhood.
Reasonable accommodations are provided upon request and in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. For assistance or to request a reasonable accommodation, please call (361) 826-3464 in advance.
