2018 City Independence Day Schedule

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Most City of Corpus Christi offices including City Hall, libraries and Municipal Court will be closed Wednesday, July 4, in observance of the Independence holiday.

Solid Waste Services:

Garbage Collection: Wednesday, July 4^th, no changes in schedule.
Recycling Collection: Wednesday, July 4^th, no changes in schedule.
Heavy Brush: Wednesday, July 4^th, will not be collected.
Brush: Wednesday, July 4^th, will not be collected.
Transfer Station: The Citizen Collection Center located at the J.C. Elliott Transfer Station will be closed Wednesday, July 4^th, and will reopen Thursday, July 5^th, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Animal Care Services:
Closed Wednesday, July 4^th.

Collier Pool, 3801 Harris Drive: Open Wednesday, July 4^th, Lap Swim 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and General Swim 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Greenwood Pool, 4305 Greenwood Drive: Open Wednesday, July 4^th, General Swim 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
H-E-B Pool, 1520 Shely Street: Open Wednesday, July 4^th, General Swim 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
T.C. Ayers Pool, 926 Coke Street: Open Wednesday, July 4^th, General Swim 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Oso Pool, 1109 Bernice Drive: Open Wednesday, July 4^th, General Swim 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Corpus Christi Natatorium, 3202 Cabaniss Parkway: Open Wednesday, July 4^th, Lap Swim 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and General Swim 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
