CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – City Council Meeting to be Abbreviated on Tuesday. Due to the ongoing recovery efforts from Hurricane Harvey, the City Council meetings originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 29, 2017 will be modified.

  • The budget meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 9 a.m. has been cancelled, and tentatively rescheduled for August 31, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
  • The regular City Council meeting agenda will also be abbreviated to allow for City leaders to focus efforts on recovery.

City Hall will be re-open to the public and resume regular business operations, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. Regular business hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The City’s virtual budget meeting scheduled for this evening at 6 pm is postponed due to the ongoing citywide recovery efforts because of recent severe and continuing weather conditions. The virtual budget meeting was to be broadcast via Facebook Live, Twitter and CCTV. The Communication Department thanks residents for their understanding and will advise when the virtual budget meeting is rescheduled.
