City Water Quality Projects Moving Forward

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi is dedicated to continuing to improve water plant operations to have more consistent and stable water quality. Several Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) are underway to improve overall water treatment and distribution including elevated storage tanks, pump stations and chemical improvements.

Since being initiated in September of 2014, all 10 projects are in progress. The first is expected to be completed in June, with an estimated completion of all projects in 2020. More than $10 million have been invested in improving water quality.

The Utilities Department is proud of the progress its making and now citizens can see the latest information about improvements on the City’s website here or at www.corpuschristiwater.com.
