Pride Parade 2017 Traffic Plan

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents and business of the following traffic control plan for the Pride Parade on Saturday, June 3.

• The parade will start near Coopers Alley, run north along Shoreline Boulevard, turn west on Starr Street and end at Mesquite Street.
• Starting at 7 a.m., no parking will be enforced along the parade route and the route’s side streets.
• Starting at 6 p.m., Northbound Shoreline Boulevard will be reduced to one lane starting at Born Street, and Southbound Shoreline Boulevard will be reduced to one lane starting at Twigg Street.

Street closures will open immediately following the event at 8 p.m.

The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the parade route and follow detour signs. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area. Access to local driveways will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
