Parks and Recreation Programs Impacted by Weather

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX –  The rain is affecting some activities with the City’s Parks and Recreation Department. Here is an update on some City recreation programs:

Latchkey Camps remain open.

The Park Master Plan Public Meeting scheduled for today at 6:00 p.m. at Lindale Senior Center will be rescheduled.

The Bay Jammin’ Concert scheduled for Thursday, June 21, at the Cole Park Amphitheater has been cancelled.

Athletics: All Sports Camps for this week have been cancelled.

Recreation Centers: Joe Garza and Oak Park Recreation Centers are closed.

Tennis Centers: Al Kruse Tennis Center is closed.

Senior Centers: Lindale, Zavala and Broadmoor Senior Centers are closed. Also, meals to homebound residents will be limited due to residential street flooding.

Aquatics: Outdoor pools are closed. Natatorium is open.
