Kites and Bikes Free Festival at The Water’s Edge

Event Hosted by the Mayor’s Fitness Council

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The fall brings fresh crisp weather that invites everyone outdoors. It’s a wonderful time to head to the park to play!

Join us on Saturday, November 4, from 8 am to 6 pm for the 5th Annual Mayor’s Fitness Council’s Kites and Bikes Festival at The Water’s Edge located at 600 S. Shoreline Boulevard.

The Mayor’s Fitness Council has partnered with a group of local kite, bike and play enthusiasts to host this FREE event! The kite stunts and demonstrations will be held from 8 am to 6 pm. Bike paths will also be available for a self-guided ride and/or walk during that time. From 2 pm to 6 pm., there will be fitness activities for the entire family, bike safety demonstrations, bike rides, exhibitors, giveaways and so much more.

Bring your kite and bike. If you don’t have a kite, there will be small kite giveaways, as well as kites available for purchase.

Proceeds will be used to enhance Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department facilities, making our parks accessible, and a place everyone can go to be healthy.
