Development Services Delays Operating Hours for Scheduled Team Meeting

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City’s Development Services Department will operate with a two-hour delay on Wednesday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 18. 

On these days, Development Services, located at 2406 Leopard Street, will open at 10:00 a.m. Please be advised other business offices in the building including the Health Department, Finance Cashier, and Fire Department will maintain standard operating hours.

Development Services staff will use this time for training and team development. Managers will take turns presenting and discussing the development process and creating operational Standard Operating Procedures for staff to collectively utilize. The goal is to develop a high performing organization whose processes are effective, efficient and are the industry’s best practices. 

Development Services’ normal operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On the first and third Wednesdays of each month, the department will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
