City to Make Check Presentation to 2015 United Way Campaign

The City of Corpus Christi is proud to announce employee contributions made to the 2015 United Way City Campaign surpassed last year’s total contribution.  

More than 1,100 City employees participated in donating a total of $106,474! The Police Department raised the most funds by collecting $24,818, while the Fire Department raised $17,471. Here’s a list of donation results from some other City departments: 

1.  $9,308 – Utilities
2.  $4,222 - MIS
3.  $3,763 - Legal
4.  $3,694 – Parks and Recreation
5.  $3,574 – Airport

On Wednesday, November 11 at 1:00 p.m., a check presentation will take place at the City Hall Atrium, located at 1201 Leopard Street. Representatives from United Way and the Corpus Christi City Employees Credit Union will be present.
